‘Would I Lie to You?’

‘Would I Lie to You?’

Calling all football managers seeking that winning edge. Supposing I told you my mental training method instantly improves the performance level of players far beyond anything you imagined possible. Would you believe me or write me off as a nutcase?

Supposing I said that any striker who works with me will score many more goals than ever before. Would you be interested or dismiss it as nonsense?

You see, it’s just like the TV show ‘Would I Lie To You?’ You have to decide if  I’m telling the truth or a lie. Because if it’s true and  I really can help you achieve much better results, surely it’s a no-brainer isn’t it? You’d be crazy not to find out more wouldn’t you? Or at least challenge me to prove it.

We all know football is a results business so if you’re looking for consistent results, what on earth are you waiting for? Can you afford not to check out if it’s true? There’s nothing to lose and everything to gain. Over to you. You decide. True or false? Let me know. But hurry! I can’t work with everybody. By the way, here’s a clue to help you. It’s true.

Fabulous Future

Fabulous Future

You don’t go to the gym once and declare yourself fit do you? You build up physical fitness over a period of time and maintain it regularly with continuous exercise. The same  applies to mental strength but it is amazing how many players think that a single session of mental training will get their minds ‘sorted out’. Whilst you certainly experience an immediate and usually quite dramatic benefit from the first session using my methods it is important to note that it is only a beginning. A tiny glimpse of fabulous future possibilities demonstrating clearly how regular mind-strengthening methods  will transport you into new realms of achievement beyond your wildest dreams. In fact, it should be continually stated until indelibly emblazoned on the mind of all athletes and coaches that in the same way players undertake physical training every day to get their bodies in top physical shape, they should also undertake mental training every day to get their minds in top mental shape. There, I’ve said it again.  And by the way, I am not talking about sports psychology. When I say mental training, I refer to my mental training method, well proven for well over twenty years and supersonic compared to so-called sports psychology. I know football managers and others in the game find this hard to believe. But ask yourself this. Why would I be saying this if it weren’t true? Surely I’d be found out pretty fast wouldn’t I. Well not so far. In twenty-three years of doing this work and developing the best method available for being in top mental shape, I have never had a single complaint about its effectiveness. Only happy clients. If you continue doing only what you’ve always done, not much will change and you will be stuck as fast as super glue. To achieve what you have never achieved you need to do what you have never done. It is important to realise that this is the way forward in the modern game and that regular mental training provides the vital element which is the difference between success and failure.  Now that you know this, can you really afford to ignore it? How to be in the Zone

How to be in the Zone

The optimum state for competition is to be nice and relaxed with the correct amount of what I call positive tension which is a kind of excitement. When you achieve the correct balance you enter what is known as the zone. (Or the flow if you’re a writer or the groove if you’re a musician.) And by the way, as I keep stressing, the same goes for whatever walk of life you happen to be involved in. I have proved beyond doubt that the methods I have developed over many years will work for you whatever you want to achieve in any walk of life. You can be in the zone stacking shelves in a supermarket, driving a truck or working as a bricklayer on a building site. It makes absolutely no difference. When you’re in the zone you switch over to auto-pilot and your mind and body click into harmony. Everything is right, everything is perfect and you achieve remarkable results. Everything flows easily and effortlessly and you feel a surge of purpose and strength. You feel amazing and at that fantastic moment your performance skyrockets and you go further than you have ever gone before. That is what these methods do for you. Not only do they improve the footballer’s performance level and help them achieve their full potential but it is absolutely certain that they cannot achieve their full potential without them. You don’t get this kind of boost even with the best silk underwear. And it’s the same whatever your job or profession. Promise. This is the way forward in the modern game. To achieve what you have never achieved you need to do what you have never done. The facts are these. I started with this work twenty-three years ago.  My methods are unique and special. I am not a sports psychologist and my methods are supersonic compared to sports psychology. They’re derived from many different modalities that I have discovered around the world and include loads of techniques I have invented myself. Apart from fifteen professional clubs and hundreds of footballers, I have worked with some of the most iconic athletes on the planet in other sports including a number of world champions. In the UK, we lag way behind in the field of mental performance training. Time for a change. It is always the time for a change. The time is always now. Call me for information about how to get into the zone at will and skyrocket your performance level on the football pitch.

Burning Ambitions

Burning Ambitions

Just as players perform a physical warm-up routine prior to matches, they also need a mental warm-up to drive out all negative thoughts and leave them feeling strong, confident, powerful and happy with only positive thoughts flowing through their minds. Few, however, are aware of even the most fundamental techniques for conditioning their minds in this way and labour under the illusion that wearing their lucky underpants, having the same breakfast every match day or listening to their favourite pop music will transport them to world-class heights. Sometimes they ask me for my opinion on these things which basically amount to nothing more than superstition and my answer is always the same. If you think it helps then do it. Whatever you think helps, do it. But make sure you do my stuff as well because the superstitious conventions you see many professional athletes indulging in are all very well but kids-stuff compared to proper mental training methods such as those I suggest in my sessions, books and workshops. Unfortunately, athletes are not always assisted much by coaches, many of whom fail to recognise the importance of mental training and struggle to understand how the mind works. Consequently, many of them tend to hide behind the ludicrous idea that you’re either born with mental strength or you’ll never have it. This is incorrect and it’s a cop out because they don’t know the correct answer. In fact, mental strength can be manufactured and built up in any willing player until they are positively overflowing with confidence, belief and winning feelings. This is what I do every day with footballers and other athletes too. It is the great broken link that players and clubs must fix without delay if they wish to stay in contention with their more progressive rivals. For those who have burning ambitions smouldering inside please remember that the world is littered with the broken dreams of talented individuals who lacked the mental strength to achieve the success expected of them. Getting that mental strength is exactly what my methods are designed for – the opportunity to be truly in the zone and experience that beautiful state at will. Please feel free to contact me now for information about how to achieve the optimum mental state for footballers. Please hurry though because my time is limited.

Your favourite Underpants

Your favourite Underpants

Calling all football managers. Over the years I have worked with a huge number of professional footballers helping them enhance performance levels and get rid of negative tendencies. When I first meet them, most don’t even have the foggiest idea about the most fundamental ways of preparing their minds for competition and regard my methods with great suspicion. During their careers, quite a few have developed certain lucky rituals such as wearing their favourite underpants, sporting the same outfit on match days, having the same pre-match meal,  putting their left sock on first, listening to a particular music track, saying a prayer or crossing themselves, bowing towards Mecca or looking upwards, presumably to God, with their arms outstretched when they take to the field. When I ask them what mental preparation they use before or during matches these are usually the sort of things they talk about. Indeed, these kinds of methods seem to be utilized, accepted and even encouraged quite widely throughout the world of top sport even though there is absolutely no scientific basis for doing them. Let’s be clear, these rituals are pure superstition and have absolutely no connection to scientifically devised mental training exercises such as those in my method. I always say that if you think it helps then by all means do it and I stand by that but please don’t place this frippery in the same category as the motivational techniques I coach because it is an entirely different thing and will not have anything like the same potent effect by any means at all. Not even close mate. It’s funny how some players find it so difficult to accept that my methods work even though I can provide absolute scientific explanations for them and yet blithely go along with the underpants nonsense as if it was invented by Einstein. The problem with these antics is that they are a vague appeal to some kind of all-powerful, outside force to intercede and boost your powers in some mystical fashion whereas what you really need is that pure energy and unshakeable belief that comes from within. The truth of the matter is that everything you could possibly want to know is inside you. Meanwhile those athletes who wear their favourite underpants on match day in the belief it will somehow improve their performances are encouraged to indulge in their quasi-religious dabbling as if it were a divine right. This is because most coaches haven’t got a clue about the mental realm and are unable to provide advice on the subject. Many of them languish in the mistaken belief that you are either born with mental strength or will never have it which is of course a brazen cop out. Therefore, they are quite relieved when athletes come up with an idea off their own back even if it is some kind of medieval fertility rite. Again I say, if you think it helps then be my guest. But please don’t confuse it with my properly devised and well proven mental training methods because it is not by any means at all the same thing. Get it? Got it? Good. Please feel free to contact me, the UK’s top mind coach, for information about how to instantly and dramatically improve the performance level of footballers using super potent, scientifically proven methods. Improvement that you can’t get with even the best silk underpants.
